Weapon disarms are situational specific, which means depending on the situation and what your surroundings are, depends on what disarm you use. Weapon disarming only work if the person is close enough to get your hands on the weapon.

    Weapon threats are extremely dangerous, and if the attacker simply wants your money or valuables, the safest option is generally to give the attacker what he wants. The only way you should ever consider attempting a physical defense against a weapon threat is when your life is in danger, if the attacker is about to kill you, do serious physical harm and or if he tells you to go with him to another location 

When you decide to react you need to commit 100%, hesitation can get you seriously hurt and or killed
